What does Sammy Booking cost?+
Plans are sized by team, and every one includes unlimited appointments and the full feature set: Team is $69 a month for up to 5 staff with 2,000 texts, Salon is $129 for up to 10 staff with 5,000 texts, and Studio is $219 for up to 20 staff with 8,000 texts. Pay yearly and that works out at $55 a month on Team, $103 on Salon and $199 on Studio. Setup is free, and the 5-star review engine and a basic website are included on every plan. The SammyAI receptionist is an optional add-on, and managed SEO and Google Ads management are flat monthly add-ons if you want our team running them for you.
Is it cheaper to pay yearly?+
Yes. Team and Salon are 20% cheaper paid yearly, which is $55 a month instead of $69, and $103 instead of $129. Studio saves closer to 10%, at $199 a month instead of $219, because it carries the largest text and minute allowances and those don't pause just because the invoice is yearly. It's one charge a year instead of twelve, and you can switch between monthly and yearly whenever you like.
What if Sammy isn't right for my salon?+
You have 30 days to decide. If you're not happy in your first 30 days of paying, email us and we'll refund you in full, no forms and no argument. After that you can still cancel any time and you simply won't be billed again, because there's no contract to get out of.
How many texts do I get, and what if I go over?+
Appointment texts are included on every plan: 2,000 a month on Team, 5,000 on Salon and 8,000 on Studio. That covers confirmations, reminders and review requests for a salon of that size. Extra texts past your allowance are 3 cents each. Email is unlimited and never metered. Marketing blasts are priced separately from your plan, so a campaign can never eat the reminders your day depends on.
What counts as a staff member?+
Anyone on your team who gets their own column on the calendar: nail techs, stylists, therapists, and you if you take clients yourself. Front-desk-only staff who never take appointments don't count.
What happens if my team grows?+
Switch plans any time from your dashboard's billing page. Your price only ever changes when your team size does, never because you had a good month, and since every plan already includes the full feature set there's nothing new to unlock as you grow. Past 20 staff you've outgrown every published allowance, so we price those by hand instead of billing you overage. Get in touch and we'll put a package together.
Is there a contract or a commission?+
Neither. Plans run month to month (or year to year if you take the yearly discount), and there are no per-booking fees or percentages tied to your revenue anywhere on Sammy. Customers who find you through the Sammy directory are free, for as long as you're with us. Your money is your money.
How much is the SammyAI receptionist?+
It's optional and billed in tiers based on how many minutes it spends on the phone each month: Starter is $79 a month for 300 answered minutes, around 130 calls. Growth is $129 for 800 minutes, around 350 calls. Busy is $329 for 2,000 minutes, around 880 calls. Extra minutes beyond your tier are 30 cents each, and you set a monthly spend cap when you turn it on, so you always know your ceiling.
Can I bundle the receptionist with my plan?+
Yes, and it's cheaper than buying both. Team Complete is the Team plan with SammyAI Growth for $189 a month instead of $198 separately. Salon Complete is the Studio plan with Growth for $299 instead of $348. Studio Complete is the Studio plan with SammyAI Busy for $499 instead of $548. Each one is cheaper again paid yearly.
